introduction
On Saturday, June 21st, employees across our Charlotte office and our manufacturing facilities in Pageland and Conway, South Carolina, came together to celebrate something more than just our work: we celebrated Impact Day, our first company-wide day of service.
From collecting litter along waterways to supporting local food banks and helping make a prom night memorable for members of our community with disabilities, our teams gave their time, energy, and heart to the communities we call home. It wasn’t just a day of volunteering; it was a reflection of who we are and the values we live by.

Pageland, SC: a community-wide effort in action
In Pageland, SC, our team came together to support three meaningful initiatives that reflect our commitment to uplifting the local community. Twelve employees volunteered their time at the Hope Food Bank in Lancaster County, where they sorted, packaged, and organized food to help provide meals for families facing food insecurity. Their efforts directly supported hundreds of people in need and reinforced the importance of community care and action.
Meanwhile, another group of volunteers partnered with the Pageland Garden Club to plant rose bushes, adding new life and beauty to the town’s shared spaces. At the same time, four employees served as chaperones for Chesco Services’ Disabilities Prom, creating a safe, welcoming environment for attendees to enjoy a night of celebration and inclusion.
Charlotte, NC: keeping waterways clean and communities connect
The Charlotte office kicked off Impact Day early in the morning at the Riverbend Boat Ramp in Mt. Holly on Mountain Island Lake. Equipped with gloves, trash grabbers, and an incredible team spirit, our volunteers collected 130 pounds of trash and 80 pounds of recyclables, restoring the natural beauty of this important local water source.
Beyond just litter collection, this initiative aligns with our commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 6, ensuring clean water and sanitation for all. At Aalberts, we engineer solutions that improve water quality and efficiency, and on Impact Day, we put our values into action, protecting local waterways that directly impact our region’s drinking water supply and ecosystems

Conway & Myrtle Beach, SC: environmental stewardship on the coast
In Conway and Myrtle Beach, SC, two volunteer teams devoted their Impact Day to protecting and beautifying the local environment. One group focused on the Springmaid Beach area, where they cleared litter from the shoreline and nearby walkways. Their efforts helped preserve one of
South Carolina’s most treasured coastal spaces, benefiting both the community and the marine life that depend on a clean ecosystem.
Simultaneously, a second team worked along the trails and green spaces of Waccamaw River Park in Conway, collecting debris and promoting environmental stewardship. These initiatives not only improved the appearance and safety of public areas but also demonstrated our deep commitment to sustainability. By acting with integrity and striving for excellence, our teams showed what it means to take responsibility for the spaces we share and lead by example in caring for our environment.
living our values, together
Living our values isn’t just important, it’s what makes us who we are. When we lead with ownership, strive for excellence, act with integrity, stay curious, and think like entrepreneurs, we create a culture where every person is empowered to make a difference. These values inspire us to go beyond the expected, to support one another, and to show up with purpose for our customers and our communities. Together, we’re not just doing business, we’re building something that matters, and the impact we make reaches far beyond our walls.

a future built on impact
This day was just the beginning. At Aalberts integrated piping systems Americas, we don’t believe impact is a one-time event, it’s something we strive to build into everything we do. From the technologies we develop to ensure clean and efficient water systems, to the way we show up for our communities, we are committed to delivering real, lasting value.
We’re proud of our teams across Charlotte, Pageland, and Conway/Myrtle Beach. Their energy, generosity, and drive made our first Impact Day a success and laid the foundation for many more to come.
Because when we come together with a purpose, there’s no limit to what we can achieve.
