At Aalberts integrated piping systems Americas, making an impact goes beyond the products we manufacture and the systems we support. It also lives in the way our people show up for each other, for our communities, and for the planet we all share.
This April, teams from our Pageland facilities, Conway facility, and Charlotte office came together for Aalberts IPS Americas’ second-ever Impact Day event series, taking time to serve their local communities through hands-on volunteer work.
While April is widely recognized as Earth Month, our commitment to sustainability does not stop when the calendar changes. Sustainability never rests. We continue to look for meaningful ways to reduce waste, support local communities, and strengthen the places where our employees live and work.
Making an impact in Pageland and Jefferson, South Carolina
In Pageland, South Carolina, Aalberts IPS Americas team members partnered with the town to support several beautification projects across the community.

Volunteers spent time:
- Polishing veteran plaques throughout town
- Picking up trash and litter
- Painting fire hydrants
- Painting the local police department fence
- Supporting general town beautification efforts
These projects were small acts with a visible impact. From honoring veterans through plaque restoration to helping refresh public spaces, the Pageland team showed how service can help preserve pride in a community.
A team also supported cleanup efforts in Jefferson, South Carolina, helping with trash pickup and contributing to a cleaner local environment.
Conway team gives back at a 100-acre park
In Conway, South Carolina, twenty-two Aalberts IPS employees and family members gave up their Saturday morning to support litter pickup at a local 100-acre park.
The day began with doughnuts and safety instructions before the team spread out across the park to begin cleanup efforts. Volunteers worked throughout open areas, hidden trails, and less-used spaces, helping restore the natural beauty of the park and take ownership in keeping Conway beautiful.
The day was also an opportunity to build stronger connections among teammates and family members while serving the broader community.
Aalberts IPS Americas extends a special thank you to Nevada Mileur and the Hospitality and Beautification Department for their support and coordination. Their commitment to helping volunteers make a meaningful difference was seen and appreciated by our entire team.
Charlotte office supports Sugar Creek cleanup
In Charlotte, North Carolina, Aalberts IPS Americas volunteers joined the Catawba Riverkeeper on Saturday, April 25, to help clean up Sugar Creek at Ramblewood Park.
Together, the group helped remove more than 2,000 pounds of trash from the area.
Sugar Creek provides an important urban natural habitat, supports recreation through nearby trails and parks, and flows into the Catawba River, which eventually becomes a drinking water source for communities in South Carolina.
The Catawba River runs 225 miles and includes approximately 8,900 miles of waterways throughout the Catawba-Wateree Basin, spanning 26 counties across North Carolina and South Carolina.

By working together on land to remove trash in and around the creek, the Charlotte team helped support the health of a shared water network that connects communities across the region.
Sustainability starts with people
Impact Day is about more than cleanup projects. It is about people taking action.
Across Pageland, Jefferson, Conway, and Charlotte, Aalberts IPS Americas employees demonstrated what it means to care for the communities around us. Whether polishing plaques, painting public spaces, collecting litter, or protecting waterways, each team helped create a cleaner, stronger, and more connected place to live and work.
As a company with facilities, offices, and manufacturing teams across the Americas, Aalberts IPS understands that sustainability is built through everyday choices. It is found in how we use resources, how we reduce waste, how we support our neighbors, and how we continue looking for better ways to make a difference.
Our second Impact Day event series was a powerful reminder that meaningful change often starts close to home.
At Aalberts IPS Americas, we are proud of the teammates and families who gave their time, energy, and care to support these efforts. Their work reflects our continued commitment to making a positive impact on each other, our communities, and our planet.
